Well this just makes me drool and shiver with delight.  A 600-mile biking trail from Memphis to New Orleans?!?!  That means I could bike to the Big Easy for a hurricane and be back in … oh, maybe a month.  Fine.  I don’t have any plans to bike 600 miles anytime soon.  At least not in one day.  But still.  We already have a nationwide interstate highway system for cars … why not one for bikes?
