Well, I haven’t biked to work in about two weeks. Â I’m giving my knee a rest in preparation for lots of biking this semester. Â In fact, as I write this, I have a great big bag of ice resting on knee. Â Tomorrow I’m going to keep icing it and try some stretching exercises. Â Then hopefully by mid-week I can go for a short ride around the block, with more stretching and icing. Â The goal is to be back at 100% by early February.
This time off my bike really makes me realize how much I hate driving to school and how much I miss cycling. Â My driving commute is really short and really easy, but biking is not that much longer time-wise. Â Hopefully I’ll be back in the saddle (pun intended) very soon.
